New MacBook Pro - The Most Eco-Friendly?
Hello readers, just a quick post about the new MacBook Pro that Apple have recently released, ahead of the event in San Francisco on March 2nd. I'm not quite sure why they would do this but maybe they have bigger plans for the event? Maybe there will be an iPhone 5G coming out soon?
The New Apple MacBook Pro - The Most Environmentally Friendly Made |
Above you can see 3 pictures of the New MacBook Pro. It contains a new system called "Thunderbolt" which lets you connect high-resolution displays and high-performance peripherals to a single port - with data transfer rates up to 10Gbps. It is said that this new system will not be released on any other make of computer until 2012...and it's only the beginning of 2011! Furthermore, all the screen sizes contain an i7 processor, and the 15-inch to 13-inch can have a choice of i5 or i7 processor... no more slow i3!
I'm in a rush today to make this post so i'm not going to analyse every detail of this laptop, however I will analyse all that is revealed at the Apple event. As I never want to disappoint my fantastic readers, I have decided to leave links to information I think you would find important.

Check Out This Site - True Football Manager
Hello Readers,
Today I present a new segment in which I will post, when I feel is necessary. I will post a link to a certain site, accompanied with my own comments and a screenshot of the site. The blog post is called "Check Out This Site" due to the fact I am presenting a site which I feel deserves to be mentioned.
My first site to present is one written by Vitaliy Mokosiy, from Ukraine. His site of a blog format and is written in perfect English - considering he doesn't speak English as his first language. His site is a Football Manager blog where he posts; his own story & his tips. It is called True Football Manager.
Above is a screen shot of his website, showing his post about his most recent club Boston United. He has many posts starting from 2007 all about Football Manager with the occasional joke. Vitaliy has become one of the top Football Manager bloggers and is now an official "SI Gold Affiliate".
His website/blog is http://www.truefootballmanager.com/
I have been reading his blog for almost a year now and it has encouraged me to view football in a different way and tought me a new approach to playing Football Manager. I would enjoy seeing him as a manager one day as he goes into so much depth about information we would glaze over, however he analyses everything possible and this allows him to become one of the top Football Manager bloggers.
And so, to end this post. CHECK OUT HIS SITE! Leave a comment.

iPad 2 - What Will 2011 Be The Year Of?
Over the last week, many people have been discussing over the web if it is true that on March 2nd 2011 Apple will be holding an event in San Francisco. I can now confirm that this is TRUE and the event will be be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am where Apple have launched products before.
Apple have confirmed the event however they will not tell what they will be releasing. Many people believe the iPad 2 will be released, as do I, however I seem to believe that is not all will be released. I feel they could possibly show pictures of a new iPhone (maybe 4GS or a 5G).
Whatever happens, you can be sure to find out about it here, or no doubt Apple will stream a video to YouTube with all the information. Check out this site on 3rd March for an entire round up of the event, and as always, Leave A Comment.
The London Velodrome - The Greatest Ever?
Sir Chris Hoy went to check out the London Olympic Velodrome, which has been completed far ahead of schedule, with fellow riders Victoria Pendleton and Jason Kenny, as well as a team of British spring stars training for 2012 success.
All the athletes have stated that they believe the Velodrome is one of the greatest made and Lord Coe said that it is a "a stunning venue built for champions". Sir Chris is hoping that due to its fabulous condition, if it can remain in top shape, many records can be broken and we may be in luck to see them broken at the 2012 London Olympics.
Having seating wrapped all the way round the track should also help to create a crowd atmosphere during events, it is also hoped.
Building work began on March 2009 and develpoment was handed over to the London 2012 organisers. Sir Chris Hoy is part of this group and as mentioned how he took part in designing the buildings dynamic shape. It took a team of 26 carpenters eight weeks ot install the track and more than 350,000 nails have been used to install its 56km of timber surface.
The VeloPark is expected to be on budget at around £93million and the 6,000-seated velodrome, with its sweeping roof designed to reflect the curve of the track, is the first venue at the Olympic Park to be complete.

Olympic Stadium - For Fighters or Strugglers.
Fellow blog readers, after quite some time off blogging, I have decided to return with a key feature in the news - besides Mubarek's resignation. The decision over the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 London Olympics.
The two teams fighting for the stadium are; West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspurs.
In my opinion Tottenham deserve the stadium due to the financial aspects. They would be guaranteeing full capacity almost every fortnight allowing income due to ticket prices. It also adds as another stadium for a World Cup to be played in, creating income through advertising and several matches being played there. Lastly, Champions League football will be added to the long list of possible events there. The only downside is Tottenham want to demolish the running track, therefore turning the stadium into a purely football, or rugby, venue.
On the other hand, the stadium could easily be given to West Ham United (the favourites) because they will be maintaining the running track, which will allow the prestigious stadium to be used as a football/rugby/athletics ground. However the financial benefits, in my opinion, are not as great due to the fact West Ham will not be able to offer sell out crowds (60,000) as they, at the moment, seem to be taking a turn down a division to the nPower Championship. Furthermore, they cannot offer Champions League football. The upside is the ground can be used for numerous events and will link a newly regenerated Stratford, to a newly regenerated West Ham United.
These are my opinions, I am curious to hear what you have to say about this dilemma. Post your comments below.
